Art-Expressions.com has been created to help artists of the world display and sell art. An art gallery will be added to the site for each artist that joins, and each gallery will be added to the Gallery Index alphabetically by the artist's last name. The Gallery Index will include the artist's name, medium, and a sample work of the artist's choice. This thumbnail will also be included in the slide show on the home page. Regular submissions to search engines will ensure that each artist's gallery will also be found in internet searchs. To the artist, this will be like having their own web site within within a larger site that will draw more traffic of buyers. This saves artists the costs of annual domain name registration, monthly hosting fees, and web site development and maintenance fees. For those that have a web site, a link will be included to increase personal site traffic and increase your ranking with search engines. The sale of all art is the responsibility of the artist. The artist's email address and personal web site address will be available in their gallery for communications from buyers. Art-Expressions.com will ask no commission for any sale. To the artist, this means that prices of artwork will not have to be inflated. This will also save the buyer inflation of commissions and the normal 40% increase of galleries. Wholesale buyers will be able negotiate prices directly with the artist instead of going through a middleman, jobber or gallery. Any, and all, sales will be entirely between the artist and the buyer. All mediums of artwork will be accepted, including paintings, sculpture, metalwork, concrete works, carvings, drawings, etc. Any works that are considered offensive will not be accepted.
